Hello to Omaha!

Here we are at our new home in Omaha! We love it here, it is a three story town home surrounded by woods on the back and to the side. There are 190 units here at Village Green, most are young families with children and babies. There are play grounds and kids playing everywhere. It is very safe and cozy feeling! We are .8 miles from the famous Henry Doorly Zoo... we have a family pass already and have been twice! Most of our ward at church are families from Village Green, which Village Green is about 90% LDS and students going to Creighton for dental, law and other programs. There are 10 ladies, 11 including myself that are due the first two weeks of September! We are very excited and happy to be here for the next three years and welcome any visitors!!Our cleaning crew at our old place in Pocatello...we couldn't have made this move without the help of our families! Thanks guys!! Bill, Bridget, Katie and Chris.
The biggest truck you could get and it was packed! I need to downsize.
On I-80 somewhere in Nebraska. Devin and his dad were in the moving truck while Katie and I were with Mack in the Aveo. It took us 15 hours and Mack was a champ minus one throw up of an 8 oz bottle in the car!
Devin just loved driving that thing!
By about 6pm that night Mack had had it. "No More!" We arrived at about 9:45pm.
Moving in Monday morning, he was not happy being confined to his high chair, he had no choice! This is our kitchen with a beautiful window view of the woods.
Aunt Katie, nanny, playmate, organizer, unpacker, pedicurist, cleaner, flower planter, meal maker, shopping buddy, decorator and best friend! We loved having her here for the week and hated to see her go. She was a huge help and I could not have gotten everything done without her!! Thanks Katie! We are 20 minutes away from the Winter Quarters Temple, our ward building is 5 minutes away from the temple. We are so blessed to be so close again!
Mack and his Aunt Katie. He just loves her!
Mack will have no problem being a Nebraska Cornhusker! He LOVES corn on the cob.
OK so we have Wild Turkeys that run around our woods and in our backyard. If you look real close in about the middle you can see one. Devin has already bought a Turkey Call for when they start gobbling at 6 am! We have also seen deer and listen to so many beautiful birds! I love it!! One of my dear friends from work, Teresa gave up this awesome pasta dishware set and goblets . It makes for such a fun dinner setting! We loved it!!
Mack loved it too!
And of course we have stairs, something new for Mack. We bought a baby gate and this is what happened. We couldn't put it lower because of the baseboard but have since gotten to where he can't do this anymore! He has learned to go up them, but has not mastered coming down.
