Christmas was very eventful this year. It was more exciting as the kids are really into the Spirit of Christmas and all the fun things that go along with it. Mack and Molly were so excited with every present, Santa they saw, snow that fell and treats that were brought and made. They loved the Christmas tree which we let them decorate themselves and only put on a few ornaments that were nonbreakable. They kept asking to go see Santa at Bass Pro Shops and thought that was were he lived. We started teaching them the true meaning of Christmas and Christ's birth. It is fun to watch them understand and put concepts together. We were able to go to Idaho this year to be with the Thompson's and also got to see Uncle Billy and Aunt Katie. We had a hard time getting there getting a blizzard the night before we were supposed to leave. The next morning we were taking Devin to his second half of his boards and couldn't get up the hill out of Village Green due to the ice, he road over with a friend after they pushed her car up the hill. We picked him up later, the roads were awful. We got to Lincoln and had to turn around as they closed I 80 all the way to Wyoming! We were able to get out the next day but it took us 19 hours. The kids did so good and we were exhausted! Here is a recap of our Christmas adventures starting with Christmas Skype with Grandpa and Grandma Storm.
