Camping at Granite Hot Springs Wyoming

We had such a fun camping trip with Grandpa and Grandma Thompson, Aunt Sara and all her kids, Aunt Katie, Uncle Chris and Carson, Uncle Billy, Uncle Tyler and Aunt Dana, Addison and Paige! We even had a visit from Bigfoot! The trip started out with the scamper crank being lost on the way there, all the plates and cups being left behind and a little rain when we started to set up. These glitches were fixed thanks to a smart grandpa and quick hour trip to the nearest town for the supplies. The kids loved being in the outdoors, playing in the scamper, eating smores and all sorts of other goodies and camping food. It was so beautiful there in the mountains and all the pine trees. It rained almost every night but the days were nice and perfect. We were able to the natural hot pool one day it was so relaxing and warm with beautiful scenery. It reminded dad of The Sound of Music as he sang the theme song.

Mack and Makayla had a great time together

Jane and Carson in their cage, a must when camping to contain such youngsters!

Molly loved the scamper!

Aunt Katie and Uncle Chris with Molly.

Molly is Pankaw's #1 fan!

Mack is grandmas! They had fun hikes together.

Mack was up early and wore himself out causing for a snooze by the fire.

All the cousins in the name shirts Grandma made. So fun to be together!

We each had a meal to prepare and here is the infamous dynamic duo, Uncle Tyler and Uncle Bill making a mean chili and cornbread. Not bear meat spaghetti this year.

Mom's dough for the scones rose a little too much, grandpa thought they were turkeys!

We had a mid day shower which caused for a beautiful rainbow, we had such breathtaking scenery.

Making smores, a favorite!

The classic arrowhead making activity.

It was a bit chilly at night, Carson was well prepared!

Jane was such a good camper and loved her tent.
A perfect afternoon hike.

We were visited by a moose and her baby.
Mack loved being able to use the great outdoors for his bathroom purposes, thanks Uncle Chris for helping him find a rock on our hike!

And even had a bigfoot siting! Grandma rented a costume and had Uncle Billy and Chris take turns dressing up and walking around scary everyone. Grandpa was so excited to have had a siting and totally bumbed when he found out he was duped. We were all tricked and pretty scared, good one guys!!
