T' Ball Time and Some Fishing

Mack and Molly got up bright and early to go to the opening day of fishing at Henry's Lake with dad and grandpa. They were so excited and were well prepared with warm clothes and snacks for a fun day.

Molly caught one of the fish of the day, half her size!

Then she got bored and tired and this is how she spent the rest of her time.

These two had their first go at T Ball!  Dad took them out to practice before their games started. He showed them how to hit and run the bases. Molly's first time to run the bases she rounded third and headed for the van where mom was waiting, got in the van and said she was tired and sweaty. She was done. She was excited to play most of the time. They were good little players. Dad got them gloves and bats, Molly's being pink, to get them ready for their games. Sister Klein their sunbeams teacher was their coach and they love her which made it more fun. Molly mostly followed her around asking her for gum or sunflower seeds. Dewey was on their team, Sister Klein's son and one of Mack's best friends. It was fun watching them learn the game and run around, it was entertaining for sure! Molly hated batting, it took her several tries at times to hit the ball off of the Tee. They played and laughed in the outfield while waiting for a ball to come to them.  

Jane was a good little fan cheering on the team.

 

Kate did well and started blowing bubbles during the games while she napped.

Uncle Billy came to some of the games too! It became a tradition to stop at Wendy's on the way home for a Frosty. Fun times!
