Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter this year in Omaha. We received some fun Easter packages from Devin's mom and Aunt Colleen. Now every time Mack sees mail in someones box he says "presents!". Everything he pulled out he said "Cute! Cool!" He is getting so fun with the things he says. Saturday before Easter we had an egg hunt at the big park here in Village Green. Mack's very first! What is Easter without Cadbury Mini Eggs?! I found a recipe for cookies and they were delicious!

Here is the park before the egg hunt, there were hundreds of eggs for the little kids to find. Mack is all ready to go with his camo basket!
It was separated by age group so he was in 0-2. At first he was picking up eggs and putting them in other little kid's baskets, he is so nice. I helped him figure out they had treats inside so he would start putting them in his. He got the hang of it!

He had so much fun opening them and finding the treat inside.

We had a great time on our egg hunt! Notice he had already gotten into his chocolate on the stroller ride home.

Miss Molly was so cute in her little Easter outfit. She loves her little lamb and very willingly shared her chocolates with mom and dad! She is so sweet.

Mack was so surprised Easter morning when he found there were more treats in his basket and eggs!

He eventually got tired of digging through the grass to find all his treats so he dumped it out and tossed the basket aside.

Easter aftermath. He had a ball and ate way too much candy, but isn't that part of holidays?!

Aside from our Easter traditions we are most grateful for the Savior and His sacrifice for each and everyone of us so that we to may be resurrected and live again as he was that great Easter morn. He lives. He loves us and will always be there for us.
