Thompson Family: Texas Trip March 2012

Devin had a 2 week externship at Parkland Hospital in Dallas so we had a fun family vacation! We drove 11 hours to Aunt Sara's house in Little Elm and stayed with them the first week and then we stayed at Studio 6 extended stay motel the second week. We did so many fun things and we got to see my friend Nicole and her kids a couple of times. Here are some of our highlights from the trip.

Home away from home. Studio 6. This is our bed/couch/play area. Mack loved the phone, we had to leave it unplugged the entire time, our AC broke the second day so I called and we had a new unit put in and Molly loves to be right by her daddy the moment he gets home.

Me and Nicole, best friends from college with all our kiddos. It was so much fun to be able to see the from 2 full days! They kids had alot of fun playing and we did visiting.

Mack's bedroom, between our bed and the wall all set with a personal nightlight and computer. The kids did really well in such a little place for a week. Mack started to say "we're home!" when we would get back to our room after being out for the day.

We're so glad when daddy comes home!! We had to think of activties in our little hotel room and the bubbles were a hit, especially when daddy would do them!
