Grandma and Aunt Dana Came to Omaha!

Grandma Thompson and Aunt Dana came to visit for 5 days in the beginning of January and we had so much fun! Mack and Molly love their grandma and fell in love with their Aunt Dana. I don't think I laughed that much in a long time and cried, thanks to Dana and watching 17 Miracles. We had a wonderful visit and are so grateful they made the trip to see us.

Mack was so excited with his Thomas the Train book from Aunt Dana.

It makes sounds, we are so excited too!
Molly loved having a present to open from Aunt Dana too!

She loved even more what was inside, this cute elephant that turns into a pillow!

Molly had to try it out, it is now has a permanent spot in her bed.
Molly was so happy with her new flower hat. A girl can't have too many cute flowers and headwear, especially when you have little to no hair!

We went to the Henry Dooryl zoo, such a fantastic zoo with amazing exhibits like the Lied Jungle, Deseret Dome and Night World. Dana had never been and loved it! She was attacked by a bat in the Night World but thankfully there was a net inbeween them. Her screem echoed throughout the tavern and so did our laughter. She thought they would like her singing the Scooby Doo song to them, apparently not.
Mack loved having his grandma and aunt here.

Devin makes a great Penguin! I was glad he was a good sport about it.
Mack wanted to take grandma across the watery log suspended bridge in the jungle.

Devin loved having his mom here, it was a nice break from his daily dental school routine.

He was so spoiled and extra loved all weekend long!

Mack vered off the path on the jungle floor to chase this bird, it was really cute!

Molly loves riding on her daddy's shoulders.

Sporting her new outfit and hat, a spoiled little girl!

Mack was surprised by his Mr. Potato Heads.
A great time was had by all and we can't wait until they come again!
