Idaho Trip May 2012, a Farewell to Landon!
| Between Devin's break the first week of May we decided to make a surprise trip to Idaho to see Landon before he went on his mission the following week. The kids did great on the drive, the air, not a/c broke an our into the 13 hr drive to Kaysville so we had to ride with the windows down most of the drive. I was 32 weeks pregnant but all went well! We got to Grandma and Grandpa Hyers at midnight and headed up to Idaho Falls the next morning. It was fun to surprise everyone except grandpa and Aunt Katie. |
| The kids love playing with Uncle Landon and it was so fun to be able to see him before he left. We will miss his many questions, conversations, Landonisms and fun sweet spirit. He is going to be an awesome missionary in Italy and every prayer Mack says " bless Uncle Landon and his mission " We love having a missionary out and enjoy his emails. |
| We are so lucky that Uncle Billy and Aunt Bridgy, as Mack started calling her, live in Rexburg and we got to spend time with them too! The kids are so spoiled with all their fun aunts and uncles to play with and pay attention to. |
| Grandpa or as Molly calls him "panka!" doing his famous ab excercises, Molly loved it and kept on going she has some awsome abs! She loves her panka and anytime she noticed him out of sight she would go looking for him yelling "Panka!" |
| Two peas in a pod and George. |
| Aunt Abbie and Molly had fun reading books, Molly like to call her "Abigail!" just like Grandma was. |
| Do they love their grandma? Sure do! |
| Molly and Uncle Billy hamming it up for the camera. |
| We have never had a garage and Mack is obsessed with them! We found these two out in the garage sitting in Abbie and Ethans car having a ball! |
| This is such a sweet picture of Molly and Aunt Bridget. |
| At one point we could not find Molly and we heard her little voice coming from the porch and there she was sitting in her favorite thing but only 100 times bigger than her little pink one, her rock a bye! |
| The kids always love seeing Aunt Katie and Uncle Chris! It was so fun to be able to go with Katie to her ultra sound to find out what she was having! |
| Mack loves fishing so Grandpa took him out to the garden to dig from worms so they could go, he was having the time of his life! |
| Diggin for worms! |
| Fishing with Grandpa. This was on his list of things he said he wanted to do along with go camping and pick berries in the garden. |
| It is amazing how Rex can sit like a 3 year old and do it comfortably! |
| Mack found this rock which made a pefect little seat for him. |
| It's a boy!!! Congrats Aunt Katie and Uncle Chris!!! |
| Here we are, the pregnant sisters! I am 32 weeks with a girl and Katie is 20 weeks with a boy. We have had fun being pregnant together, only wish we lived closer and we could have the babies close so they can play. |
| The kids with their Great Grandpa Thompson. We were able to go visit Grandpa and Grandma during our trip, we are so glad as grandma passed away a month later. |
| Molly and another Panka. She has 6 living pankas, what a lucky girl and only has one she has not met yet. |
| Mack was in heaven playing on the lift chair, their own personal ride! |
| Anything with buttons and is electronic is right up his ally and can operate it like a pro. |
| We had such a fun trip, sad it was only from Wednesday to Sunday morning but we were grateful to have been able to go without any problems. The kids got a great recharge of family and being spoiled by so many and we had a nice break from being their caretakers 24/7. We sure love our family!!! |
